People typically place heroes like Heavy Cavalryman, Spartan and Light Summoner in the front row, as it means that their shield can block attacks and keep the back row safer. However, units in the front of the formation tend to attack first, so there are several good reasons for having offensive heroes in front. One of the other reasons for having offensive heroes in the front is that they can use relics to inflict debuffs on the opposition, and this can influence the outcome of the fight. This is one of the reasons why paywall heroes like Pandora, who is typically not cheap, can easily win fights by themselves. Further, due to there being more AoE heroes later on than in the early-game, having shields in the front row can be less effective at shielding the back row. There are also heroes like Hell Keeper, who can imprison heroes in the front row and prevent them from using their abilities, that can easily render front row shields less useful.

There are still tank options like Undead Skeleton without shield abilities, however, and people also tend to place that in the front row. In some fights, however, offensive area-of-effect heroes will still be necessary in the front row because you need to dislodge or debuff the enemies quickly. Undead Skeleton can still be useful in the back row, because it absorbs attacks from enemy heroes later in the fight. Due to the priority of move order, and the power of offensive moves and debuffs in this game, there are many benefits to having offensive heroes in the front row.

Qalena is right. Cross-Server Boss unlocks at level 54 (at the same time as pets), and if your room kills the boss, then the auction will appear. You need to do over 0.1% of the room’s damage to participate in the auction. In the auction, you use amethyst to bid for items such as pet cards, pet skin shards, pet equipment, and pet charms. Whoever bids highest gets the item. If someone else gets an item, you get a quantity of amethyst that depends upon how much damage (percentage-wise) you did to the boss, as well as on how much was bid to purchase the item. It can be slow to get amethyst at first, but when you do the rewards can be useful. It is also one of the easiest ways to pick up the various pets.

You can get them without ambers, you get the crystal containing class talent points from the main quest.

What would be the relevance of this in gameplay terms? What would change for people who are ‘adopted’? It’s not entirely clear what your proposal would entail.

This suggestion wouldn’t seem to add that much to the game.

What feature do you mean? Hero evolve, or hero upgrade? If you mean the Season Trial, then that doesn’t level up hero skills, but it does increase hero stats. You increase a hero’s season trial level by using them in fights with wild monsters on the map, this gives you cards for the hero, and you can use these cards to upgrade the hero’s stats in Hero Training.

However, you typically increase the level of a hero’s skills through either hero evolve, that unlocks and develops a hero’s passive skills, or through hero upgrade, that offers a comparatively small boost to the hero’s active skill when it levels up.

It’s difficult to tell what feature you mean exactly, however.

Go to the Church in Holy City, then talk to the priest on the right side, named Watts. He will give you the option of divorcing.

I don’t think that they have been available in any event without ambers. I’m not sure if they’ve been available for ambers, since I haven’t checked, but I haven’t heard much about it.

There seems to have been a brief maintenance.

The maintenance is due to the server merge mentioned here: https://espritgames.com/forum/topic/server-merge-2/ . We’re not sure how long it will last.

Activation Codes in Events are occasional codes that give rewards, mostly during festivals and events like Easter, Christmas, etc. They aren’t required to progress in the game, but they might occasionally appear.
