Eszopiclone 3 mg helps you fall asleep more quickly and stays sleeping longer. Generally speaking, sleep aids need to be taken for a maximum of one or two weeks and for very short durations—no more than one or two days.
If you want to go to sleep faster, eszopiclone shouldn’t be taken just before or right after a big, high-fat meal. This will facilitate the drug’s easier absorption by your body. Drinking should be avoided when using eszopiclone.
If you are convinced that you will be able to sleep for seven or eight hours after taking the medication, eszopiclone should only be used just before bed.
