It is always disheartening to see an online game reach the end of its lifecycle, especially when you have invested a lot of time in it. I appreciate that the developers gave players advance notice and stopped accepting payments before the shutdown—this is a far better approach than closing everything down without warning.
The *Eternal Fury* promotion is also a nice gesture toward players who financially supported the game. Even if it isn’t the same gameplay experience, at least long-time players get something in return.
