It sounds like Kings of War has been on life support for a while, so the shutdown isn’t totally surprising, even if it’s disappointing. That’s always a rough message to read. It sounds like the game just ran out of technical and financial runway, which sadly happens a lot with online titles. At least they’re offering something back to players who supported it, even if it’s in another game. Still, it doesn’t really make up for losing a world you spent time in. If you were invested in Kings of War, it’s normal to feel disappointed or even a bit angry about it.
