I only started looking for a calculator when I received an offer with a fixed net amount and realized I had no idea how much I’d actually see in my account. Manual formulas and tax tables quickly became confusing, so I decided to test different services. Most provide approximate figures, but salary calculation Latvia turned out to be closer to reality—it takes into account taxes, social contributions, and the tax-exempt minimum. I then checked with my accounting department—the difference was minimal.
