I’ve been playing Blox Fruits for a while and recently started thinking more seriously about how I should build my character instead of simply following quests and leveling whenever I have time. Getting to the Second Sea feels like a major milestone, but it also seems like the game becomes much more complicated from this point onward. There are more fruits to consider, better weapons, different fighting styles, raids, mastery, bosses and eventually the Third Sea, so I’m trying to figure out what is actually worth prioritizing.

One thing I’m struggling with is choosing the right fruit for long-term progression. A fruit can be great for grinding but feel completely different when you start fighting bosses or other players. I’ve also noticed that some fruits seem much easier to use when farming groups of NPCs, while others require more practice to get the most out of their abilities. I don’t want to constantly change fruits every time I find something new, so I’d rather choose something that can remain useful for a decent part of my progression.

I’m also wondering how much attention I should give to mastery. Sometimes I feel like I’m spending too much time trying to unlock every ability on a fruit when I could simply be leveling up and moving to the next area. On the other hand, having access to the full moveset can make grinding and boss fights much easier. Do experienced players normally focus on getting high mastery before changing fruits, or is it better to keep moving forward and level several different fruits over time?

Raids are another part of the game that I haven’t completely figured out yet. They seem extremely useful because of the rewards and awakening system, but I’m not sure when a player should start taking them seriously. I’ve joined raids where the team was well organized and everything went smoothly, but I’ve also been in groups where everyone seemed to have a different idea of what they were doing. For someone who is still progressing through the Second Sea, is it worth regularly participating in raids, or should most of the focus remain on leveling and improving the basic build?

I’m also curious about fighting styles. There are so many options that it can be difficult to know which ones are worth investing time into. Some players seem to specialize heavily in one style, while others collect several and switch between them depending on what they are doing. I usually prefer having one reliable setup rather than constantly changing my abilities, but I’m wondering whether that approach becomes a disadvantage later in the game.

Weapons are another thing I’m trying to balance. I’ve seen players who barely use swords because their fruit and fighting style do most of the work, while other players build their entire character around sword combat. It makes me wonder whether it is better to specialize early or maintain a more flexible character. If you invest heavily in one type of combat and later decide that you prefer another, does that make progression significantly harder?

Boss farming also seems like something that becomes more important around this stage. Some bosses can be useful for money, mastery or specific drops, but spending a long time farming the wrong boss can probably slow down progression. I’d like to know how experienced players decide which bosses are worth farming and when they simply move on to the next area instead of trying to get every possible drop.
