One of the most memorable places in Crete is the Old Venetian Harbour.
We walked along the seafront. I was very surprised by the colour of the sea. It’s three different colours that don’t mix. We were in September. Entrance to the tower itself is paid. But it’s pretty good. You can feel the history inside. See how cities were defended against sea attacks in ancient times. And then get out on the roof and take pictures. It’s quite picturesque. You get good pictures. If you only go to Crete, you can make an avatar there. Flag, sea, colourful ancient walls – that’s what you need.
