Since it was a bit of a journey, I thought I would share what I discovered after recently addressing a problem with my automatic sliding door repair Here are some ideas that can save you time if your sliding door is malfunctioning.
Sometimes the solution is easier than first appears. Start by noting what is happening—does the door refuse to open completely, get locked, or emit sounds? For me, the door stuttered and stopped half-way on occasion. Actually, the resistance in the tracks came from simple dirt and trash.
