Pokémon GO Unveils Shiny Cutiefly in the Exciting Dazzling Dream Event

In a thrilling announcement, Pokémon GO is set to introduce the shiny Cutiefly during the upcoming Dazzling Dream event. After a dynamic year filled with new Pokémon and gameplay features, Pokémon GO is kicking off 2024 with an abundance of content for players to immerse themselves in during the month of January.

To ring in the new year, Pokémon GO hosted a special event, featuring Rowlet for January’s Community Day, while Porygon took the spotlight for January’s Community Day Classic. Niantic introduced Dusk Form Lycanroc and has plans to add Hisuian Typhlosion in the upcoming Raid Day, achieving the inclusion of all Sinnoh starters in their Hisui variants. However, for trainers eager to enhance their Pokémon collection with more Fairy-type Pokémon, the latest announcement from Pokémon GO brings delightful news, unveiling an event dedicated to this specific Pokémon type and the debut of the shiny Cutiefly.

Niantic has confirmed the introduction of shiny Cutiefly in Pokémon GO as part of the Dazzling Dream event, scheduled to commence on January 13 at 10 am and conclude on January 16 at 8 pm local time. Throughout this event, trainers will encounter the pre-evolution, Ribombee, in the wild, alongside other Fairy-type Pokémon, including Clefairy, Jigglypuff, Marill, Snubbull, Cottonee, Spritzee, Swirlix, Dedenne, Morelull, and Togetic. Of particular note is Togetic, known for its rarity in Pokémon GO spawns. The event will also showcase the appearance of Flabebe, with red Flabebe in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, blue in the Asia-Pacific region, and yellow in the Americas. Trainers worldwide will have the opportunity to encounter the rare white and orange Flabebe variants of the Gen 6 Pokémon.

As part of the Dazzling Dream event, players can hatch Togepi, Spritzee, Swirlix, and Cutiefly from 7 km eggs, while completing Field Research tasks will yield rewards such as encounters with Alolan Vulpix, Spritzee, Swirlix, Cutiefly, Mawile, and Carbink. Mega Gardevoir and Mega Altaria will receive Mega Energy, and completing Collection Challenges will grant XP, Stardust, and an encounter with Carbink. Additionally, a Limited Paid Research will be available, offering two Premium Battle Passes, XP, Stardust, two Star Pieces, and encounters with event-themed Pokémon. Trainers can enjoy double Stardust for catching and hatching Pokémon during the Dazzling Dream event, and a new avatar item will be featured in the in-game store.

Entering the second month of Pokémon GO Season 13, themed around the Hisui region, players can anticipate an exciting array of events and adventures in the months to come.
