I suggest you use the Aryson AOL Backup Tool to Export AOL mailboxes to an Office 365 account. The tool gives you a simple user interface, beneficial for both technical as well non-technical users. It allows users to take the backup of AOL mailboxes into multiple files formats and email clients.
